The Global Warming Solutions Act (AB 32) Update


H. David Nahai, CEO and GM of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), leads a panel of experts on a focused discussion concerning The Global Warming and Solutions Act (AB 32) and the Global Warming & Asthma Report. The ramifications of AB 32 has far-reaching effects for all Californians and could serve as a national template. The question remains, however, how it will be funded and implemented.

Los Angeles, CA — BREATHE California of Los Angeles County (BREATHE LA) announced the 2009 Green Salon Series at City Hall last month to much acclaim. Sponsored by Union Bank of California Foundation, the series will begin February18th with panel discussion of AB 32, the Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006. A full panel of experts and a media industry moderator have been confirmed as well as a special welcome by Salon Series supporter and city leader, the Honorable José Huizar.
